The Service Club for the Blind is a non-profit 501(c)3 Private Foundation that helps people who are legally blind in the St. Louis, City and St. Louis County MO area.
We have members and clients:
Members are provided with various social functions such as lunches, game days, entertainment, guest speakers etc. We also provide a healthcare program for vision, hearing and dental issues.
Clients are assisted with monthly grocery cards, annual clothing assistance, and assistance with some utility payments.
We have limited space for new members and clients due to the fact that we are not federally or state funded and rely totally on donations, so there is a lengthy waiting list for both. An application must be completed and the relevant paperwork must be submitted. Approval for membership and client services is made quarterly by the Service Club Board. New members and clients are notified in writing.
